The Willstätt youth fire brigade can look forward to a donation of €500 from the operating company of the Willstätt industrial park (B.I.W.). B.I.W. Managing Director Alexander Reichert presented the donation to Willstätt's Mayor Tobias Polley in the presence of fire brigade representatives. In addition to Martin Kiefer, head of the industrial park's fire brigade, Christian Hetzel, commander of the Willstätt volunteer fire brigade, and Marc Hetzel, deputy head of the Willstätt youth fire brigade, were also present.

"In addition to local clubs and groups, we also regularly support local youth work," said Alexander Reichert, explaining the background to the donation. "And perhaps this will also inspire young people to pursue a career at the industrial park in the future."

During the donation ceremony, Mayor Polley and Commander Hetzel also emphasised the good cooperation between the industrial park's plant fire brigade and the local volunteer fire brigade. This is evident, among other things, in joint drills and the opportunity for the volunteer fire brigade and youth fire brigade to train in vacant buildings in the industrial park. In addition, the volunteer fire brigade can be alerted by the plant fire brigade as needed.
